To my surprise, my rate turned out to be on the higher side. I’ve got a few minor health issues, but when you add them up, they likely explain the elevated risk assessment. I’m pretty sure that if I had gone the traditional route, I might have snagged (and maybe still can) a better rate. But honestly, that process is even more of a hassle and takes forever. I’m giving it a 3 out of 5 because of the steep rate, the lack of clarity on it, and let’s be real, life insurance is never a fun thing to deal with, in my view.

I'm fairly certain that if I had taken the traditional route, I could have obtained (and might still be able to) a better rate. However, that process is even more intrusive and time-consuming. I'm giving it a rating of 3 due to the high rate, lack of explanation for the rate, and because, let's face it, life insurance is never a pleasant experience in my opinion.
